Through a review of theoretical and philosophical sources, it examines the main epistemological paradigms (positivist, interpretive, and sociocritical) that impact the conception and development of scientific knowledge. The review shows how epistemological decisions affect not only the research methods used but also the researcher's ethical stance toward the reality studied. It reflects on the importance of acquiring a solid epistemological foundation that facilitates decision-making aligned with both the purpose of the research and current social needs. This documentary review highlights the importance of adopting a critical and conscious stance that allows us to transcend the automatic application of research methods, advocating instead for a reflective and contextualized practice within the scientific field. The findings contribute to strengthening the dialogue around the role of epistemology in the construction of meaningful knowledge within the educational field.
2025-07-04T00:00:00-04:00Copyright (c) 2025 Revista En Prospectiva | Universidad Yacambúhttps://revista.uny.edu.ve/ojs/index.php/en-prospectiva/article/view/690Critical ontoaxiology2025-07-02T22:04:37-04:00Félix Alberto Gilfelix.gil@uny.edu.ve
Research is a core function, which has allowed human beings to advance from their most archetypal memories to the metaverse in their contemporary social construct. The need or desire to explore the uncertainty of our circumstances relates to the philosophical paradox between the credible and the doxa, as well as between the verita natura and the verita dei. This involves glimpsing, through reason, the Being-to-Being proposed by Otherness, Otherness, and Nostredad in the peer circle of knowledge. This scenario has led Yacambú University to formalize and prepare, under a new model of education by competencies and skills, the new generations, strengthening the methodology of its educators in the noble profession of teaching. From this ontoepistemic reality, I present a reflective contribution on research and its vicissitudes today and the andragogical processes of teaching and learning, from a critical perspective that contributes to the educational dynamics of our Alma Mater.
2025-07-04T00:00:00-04:00Copyright (c) 2025 https://revista.uny.edu.ve/ojs/index.php/en-prospectiva/article/view/657Work stress in the personnel of the Civil Registry Unit of the Central Hospital Barquisimeto2025-05-14T20:23:27-04:00Joel Antonio Castellanos Sequeracastellanosjoel517@gmail.com
This research understands work stress from the perspective of the daily experiences of the employees of the Civil Registry Unit of the Central Barquisimeto Hospital. The research is developed under an interpretative paradigm, with a qualitative approach, using the phenomenological-hermeneutic method. In-depth interviews were applied to five civil registry employees, whose testimonies were processed in analysis matrices to extract the key categories of the study. The findings reflect that work stress has a significant impact on the physical and mental health of workers, affecting their performance and quality of life. Task overload, lack of adequate resources and the accumulation of documents without efficient organization are identified as the main factors contributing to the problem. The study also shows that work-related stress is a growing social phenomenon within the hospital management field, which requires the intervention of health authorities and hospital managers. It emphasizes the importance of implementing strategies to mitigate its effects and promote a healthier work environment that favors the well-being and efficiency of the staff.
2025-07-04T00:00:00-04:00Copyright (c) 2025 Revista En Prospectiva | Universidad Yacambúhttps://revista.uny.edu.ve/ojs/index.php/en-prospectiva/article/view/588Complexity in chemistry teaching2025-01-03T12:17:44-04:00Julio Cesar Ysea Segoviajysea70@gmail.com
The objective of this research advance is to describe the complexity in the teaching of chemistry, focusing on a systemic approach to promote critical thinking. The research is developed under the qualitative-interpretative paradigm using the phenomenological method, which allows for an in-depth exploration of the participants' experience. The study setting is the Center for Integral Reform (cerit) in the city of Latacunga, province of Cotopaxi, Ecuador. Key informants include three teachers from the institution. For data collection, techniques such as in-depth interviews and participant observation are used, guaranteeing a comprehensive understanding of the reality investigated. Ultimately, this research seeks to contribute to the advancement of chemical education, promoting critical and systemic competencies in the twenty-first century.
2025-07-04T00:00:00-04:00Copyright (c) 2025 Revista En Prospectiva | Universidad Yacambúhttps://revista.uny.edu.ve/ojs/index.php/en-prospectiva/article/view/623Importance of the accounts payable budget as a determining factor in Internal audit processes2025-03-07T15:24:29-04:00Sandra Elizabel Hernández Chacónsandrahch703@gmail.com
The general objective of this article was to analyze the accounts payable budget as a determining factor in internal audit processes. For this purpose, the study was established through a positivist paradigm, a quantitative approach and a deductive method, all of them related to the type of field research with a descriptive level, being represented in a non-experimental design. In this sense, the population was made up of five (05) individuals who work in the Regional Electoral Office of the Yaracuy State, located in the San Felipe municipality of said town, constituting a census sample, to whom a survey was applied through a dichotomous questionnaire, which was first validated by expert judgment made up of two specialists in Public Accounting and one in Methodology, then, after its implementation, the reliability calculation of the data obtained through the Kuder Richardson coefficient (KR-20). Subsequently, the data was processed and analyzed through tabulation in tables and graphs to be contrasted with the theory presented in the documentary and bibliographical foundation. Through this, it was found that the staff of the aforementioned institution has adequate knowledge in budgetary matters, a situation that is considered positive since it allows the relevant procedures in the matter to be adequately carried out.
2025-07-04T00:00:00-04:00Copyright (c) 2025 Revista En Prospectiva | Universidad Yacambúhttps://revista.uny.edu.ve/ojs/index.php/en-prospectiva/article/view/615Technological evaluative management as a driver of innovation in the Discro 2014 C.A. Spare Parts company2025-02-24T10:24:33-04:00Valentino Raffaele Crocetta Yanuariovalentinocrocetta@gmail.com
Evaluative management, nowadays, has become a fundamental element within every company, both international and national, especially if it is linked to technology. With this element, current processes are no longer as slow as they were in previous times. In this sense, the study aimed to analyze applying technological evaluative management as a driver of innovation in the company Repuestos Discro 2014 C.A., to determine whether this company uses this tool. For this, theories such as Schumpeter's theory of innovation (1912), Perozo and Nava's theory of technological management (2005), and Rogers' theory of innovation diffusion (1962) were addressed. Methodologically, it was a quantitative study, with a field research design, collecting information through surveys directed at the four employees of the company, with five (05) dichotomous questions; subsequently, the responses were analyzed one by one and tabulated graphically. As a result, it was found that 0% of the employees said that there is no application of formal GET practices, which indicated that there are weaknesses in the evaluation strategies within the company.
2025-07-04T00:00:00-04:00Copyright (c) 2025 Revista En Prospectiva | Universidad Yacambúhttps://revista.uny.edu.ve/ojs/index.php/en-prospectiva/article/view/691Presentación Vol. 6 N° 12025-07-02T22:16:27-04:00Juan Pedro Pereira Medinainvestigacion@uny.edu.ve2025-07-04T00:00:00-04:00Copyright (c) 2025
