Abstract

This project focuses on the design of a high-efficiency DC-DC Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system to address electrical instability in Venezuela. The study is structured in three phases: diagnosis, feasibility analysis, and system design. The UPS employs the LT8390 controller, known for its high efficiency and ability to handle a wide range of voltages. The results indicate that the designed DC-DC UPS provides a reliable and efficient energy source, with significant advantages over traditional systems, including better energy efficiency and reduced impact on battery life. Future recommendations include optimizing component selection and exploring new technologies to improve system performance.
