Impact on flexible production due to the advancement of intelligent applications driven by big data in the current context

This essay, based on a documentary review, addresses the impact that the ongoing advancement of Big Data and smart technologies has on flexible manufacturing, resulting in a more efficient, adaptable, and innovation-oriented production model in the current context, highlighting the fundamental role of Big Data as a driver of this synergy. The paper explores the main trends in Industry 4.0, where the integration of digital technologies allows companies to quickly adapt to market demands, optimize processes, and improve efficiency. Furthermore, the paper discusses the challenges associated with managing large volumes of data and implementing smart solutions, as well as the opportunities that arise for innovation and competitiveness, and the risks involved in implementing these technological solutions. The paper concludes that collaboration between flexible manufacturing and Big Data-based applications represents a key strategy for addressing the challenges of the modern economy and promoting sustainable development in various sectors.
