Internal inventory control based on COSO III for the warehouse department of the company Instaya C.A., Chivacoa, Yaracuy State
Abstract
In this research, we address the analysis of the internal control of the inventory based on COSO III in the Warehouse department of the company Instaya C.A., located in Yaracuy, Venezuela. The main objective of this study is to analyze inventory control in order to recommend strategies that improve the management of the company's material resources. The importance of internal inventory control based on COSO III in the context of business management is highlighted, especially for companies such as Instaya C.A., located in Yaracuy. Internal inventory control is essential for any business, as it allows for accurate tracking of the products and materials found in the warehouse. Currently, the company faces significant challenges in relation to inventory control in its warehouse department such as material loss, lack of control in inputs and outputs, resource availability problems that affect the quality of service. It is expected that this study will contribute to optimizing inventory management in the company Instaya C.A., allowing a better control of the materials used in the provision of its services. The implementation of COSO III-based internal control for the company's Warehouse department is expected to generate significant benefits in terms of operational efficiency and profitability. Likewise, it seeks to improve the supervision of material inputs and outputs, as well as the identification and monitoring of assets.
