Inventory procedures for error reduction at Kambu C.A. state of Portuguesa

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze inventory procedures for error reduction at Kambu C.A., a company located in the state of Portuguesa. It employed a quantitative methodology, specifically a descriptive field research study with a non-experimental design. The population consisted of twelve (12) employees from the accounting and administrative area, representing a census sample. Data was collected using a questionnaire, which was validated by expert judgment in accounting and methodology. Reliability was assessed using Cronbach's Alpha coefficient, yielding a value of 0.92, considered highly reliable. Data analysis utilized tabulation and graphical representations. In conclusion, implementing a new inventory control procedure can significantly impact a company's efficiency and profitability. It is important to periodically evaluate the method used and make adjustments accordingly to ensure its long-term effectiveness.
