Current status of commercial law in Venezuela

Abstract

Commercial law in Venezuela faces significant challenges due to the country's economic and political crisis. In recent years, changes in legislation have been observed that seek to adapt to an increasingly complex market environment. This article analyzes recent reforms in the commercial legal framework and their impact on commercial relations and the protection of merchants' rights. Aspects such as the regulation of commercial companies, intellectual property, and insolvency are discussed. The relevance of this study lies in the need to understand how commercial law can contribute to economic recovery and strengthen the business fabric in Venezuela.
