University research for social-community management
A necessary discussion

This paper attempts to focus on university research for socio-community management. We approach it from a vision that intends to investigate the complexity of the concept of community and that of socio-community development, as well as its interweaving of relationships and couplings that will be assumed by the university through research. The discussion with elements of the global and local context, leads to a proactive reflection of a research agenda and lines of action to dignify university research towards the social management of communities.
