Entrepreneurship training in the nursing professional

This article proposed to theoretically explore strategies towards formimg the entrepreneurial spirit in the Nursing Program of the Universidad Centroccidental Lisandro Alvarado in order to raise student awareness of business skills in the health field. The theoretical development focused on the entrepreneurial prospective in the training of nursing professionals and entrepreneurship training strategies in the Nursing Program, following the approach of documentary research selecting articles written in English for the corresponding arguments. The conclusions indicate that promoting innovative thinking and entrepreneurial spirit allows nursing education to be significantly reoriented to prepare graduates to enter a dynamic and changing health labor market. The future vision of the article is projected to be able to integrate teaching and learning methodologies in nursing training with entrepreneurial characteristics, capable of leading and transforming the health sector with creative solutions.
