Abstract

This research addresses the analysis of how people constitute the main asset of the organization. The objectives include identifying the role of organizations to grow, prosper and maintain their continuity. The methodology applied is qualitative, based on a bibliographic review of 30 scientific articles selected between the period 2000 and 2023, according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results highlight that organizations that are able to optimize the performance of their employees achieve better results. Furthermore, when an organization is oriented towards people, its global philosophy and its organizational culture, there is an evolution of organizational development. The conclusions indicate that The progressive advances that companies and institutions have experienced since the OD, is largely due to the dynamics of transformations of the information society, knowledge and the impact of technologies, which today is called digitalization, which have been able to promote substantial changes in the main processes, making them more effective, efficient and productive, improving the performance levels of collaborators, sharing information to reduce risks, but focused on a constant need for changes.
